Issue:
- The residents of Mattersey Thorpe are very concerned with the current state of the Bridleway know as BROOMFIELD LANE. The Bridleway is in need of URGENT repair.
- The high number of HGV and Large Agricultural vehicles using BROOMFIELD LANE is unacceptable to residents and the level of safety to residents in the village is of particular concern.
Action Requested:
The undersigned residents of Mattersey Thorpe request that Nottinghamshire County Council orders urgent repairs to be carried out on Broomfield Lane and also undertakes a review of Bridleway safety on Broomfield Lane alongside introducing a suitable weight restriction for vehicles travelling on this Bridleway and to investigate the feasibility of re-directing HGV and Large Agricultural vehicles through an alternative route.
