Issue:
- The residents of Ranskill village are VERY concerned with the high level of speeding traffic passing through the village. This is a danger to all residents.
- The existing traffic warning signs and speed limit signs in the village are not sufficient enough to deter speeding motorists.
Action Requested:
The undersigned residents of Ranskill village request that Nottinghamshire County Council orders an investigation to determine how to improve the speed restriction methods through the village including the installation of more speed restriction signs on the following roads:
Great North Road, Mattersey Road, Blyth Road and Station Road. The introduction and possible relocation of the flashing speed awareness signs should also be considered.
