Conservatives win Bassetlaw with 14,000 Majority

Brendan Clarke-Smith is elected Conservative MP for Bassetlaw

Conservative Brendan Clarke-Smith has sensationally won the Bassetlaw constituency in the 2019 general election on 12th December.  The result:

Brendan Clarke-Smith CONSERVATIVE   28, 078 (55.2%)

Keir Morrison LABOUR                            14, 065 (27.7%)

Debbie Soloman  BREXIT PARTY              5,366 (10.6%)

Helen Tamblyn-Saville LIB DEM                 3,332 (6.6%)

CONSERVATIVE MAJORITY: 14,013

The result in Bassetlaw was the largest Labour to Conservative swing in post-war British political history.
