Experienced community campaigner Fraser McFarland has been selected by the local Conservatives to contest the upcoming Sutton ward by-election.
He said: "I'm grateful to have been chosen as the Conservative candidate in the upcoming by election. "There are many important issues at stake from opposing the Hive scheme, fly-tipping, stopping Labour's plan for 12k houses, keeping our roads safe and making sure local voices are heard when tackling unwanted developments.
"I'm very much looking forward to working with you in the coming weeks to start addressing these concerns, and I hope to see you on the doorstep shortly."
