On Friday 23rd March, we held our annual general meeting at our new office in Bircotes for the first time. The results of who was elected is as follows:

Worksop South-East By Election Results

On Thursday 22nd March, a by-election took place in Worksop South East. The results were as follows:

> Labour - 77.3%

> Conservative Party - 15.2%

> Liberal Democrats - 7.5%

 

Conservatives in Bassetlaw move into new office

The Bassetlaw Conservative Association has moved into its new premises located at The Old Police Station, Bircotes, DN11 8DE.

The new office will be officially opened by James Cleverly MP, Vice-Chairman of the Conservative Party on the 23rd February 2018.

By-election!

Labour Councillor, Deidre Foley, has resigned from Bassetlaw District Council with her reason for doing so currently unknown. On March 22nd, a by-election will take place for the voters of Worksop South East to elect Deidre Foley's replacement on Bassetlaw District Council.

Tickhill Road Planning Application (650 Houses)

A planning application for 650 houses has been submitted to Bassetlaw District Council on land at Tickhill Road Harworth. It will wrap around Baulk Lane and join the Persimmons estate on Bawtry Road.

I am launching today a survey on the safety of our roads here in Ranskill. Since being elected I have regularly received correspondence from residents regarding speeding and other highway related safety concerns.
